Who we are
The Hilltop Empowerment Centre was established in 1995 with the aim of improving the lives of the South African people and the lives of others from around the world. The centre’s purpose is to represent villages, communities, families and individuals in a way that establishes a greater good. Hilltop supervises projects all over the Eastern Cape province with the headquarters remaining in Hanover.
Hilltop Empowerment Centre’s managing director, Rommel Roberts, resides on the property with his wife, Robin. They are committed to assisting people who come from disadvantaged backgrounds, and work with Hilltop’s managers and volunteers from around the world towards achieving this goal. The Hilltop team is enthusiastic and very proud of the improvements they have made in people’s lives.
