Bike Project
Bicycles are an essential means of transport in rural areas.
However, bikes are expensive and most people can‘t afford them. Hilltop imports, refurbishes and sales bikes at a very low cost. We are also encouraging the development of bike repair and technical skills.
To accomplish this mission, we work hand in hand with a network of organizations including the Bicycle Empowerment Network (Cape Town), Drahtesel (Switzerland), Afri-bike Nederland and Velo Mondial (Holland) ESM Development (South Africa/Switzerland)
